Summer: Simplifying student debt
You no longer have to manage your student loans alone …
We hear about it all the time in our student debt clinics: Our members who are struggling to pay off their student loan debt simply don’t know who to turn to for help. Student loan servicers like Navient have given them bad information, fly-by-night companies are scamming borrowers out of hundreds of dollars to fill out a few forms, and public officials are in no hurry to hold loan servicers or third-party scams accountable.
Trauma Coverage for AFT members
AFT members work hard—now more than ever—to educate, heal, help and serve our communities. Sometimes our own stress is compounded by a personal or workplace trauma; still, we struggle to be fully present for others. Now the AFT is offering a new, free benefit—Trauma Coverage—to provide help and healing for our members, whenever needed, wherever a member may be.
AFT members are automatically eligible for hundreds of Union Plus benefits and discounts.
