AFT-WV president elected to WV AFL-CIO office

Judy Hale is sworn in as a vice-president of the WV AFL-CIO on October 8, 2009.

A large delegation of AFT-WV members was on hand to support Hale during the convention, which was held October 7-8, 2009 at the Marriott in Charleston. Hale joins Bob Brown, who was re-elected to his vice-president's seat during the convention, in representing AFT-WV on the AFL-CIO Executive Board.

The WV AFL-CIO Executive Board consists of the AFL-CIO president, secretary-treasurer, and 14 vice-presidents representing various unions in West Virginia.
