Local leaders and activists from across the state traveled to Charleston for the annual Legislative Summit, held September 9-10.
Participants identified issues and priorities based on geographical regions, then worked in small groups to look at challenges on state, local and community levels. Members also discussed the importance of educating colleagues, family members and friends about political candiates who demonstrate a commitment to working families.
