The 2009 AFT-WV Constitutional Convention will be held at Mountaineer Casino & Resort in Chester, West Virginia. This is an election year. It is the main purpose of this convention to elect the AFT-WV Executive Board. Seats to be filled include president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and member at-large positions. Additionally, it is also the purpose of this convention to review any needed or requested amendments to our state constitution and/or by-laws. . We wish to encourage every local to send representation. Your participation in your state federation will help to ensure its success in the coming years.
