Kristie Skidmore was elected president of AFT-WV in November 2024. She is the president of AFT-Randolph, Local 6296. She is a building representative and has also served as secretary, and vice-president of Local 6296.
Kristie has served on the AFT-WV Executive Board since 2017. Currently in her 30th year of teaching, Kristie was a Title 1 Reading Specialist before being elected to the full-time position of AFT-WV president. Kristie is a proud past
