Grant Prillaman, an AFT member and Spanish teacher at Washington High School in Jefferson County, traveled to Puerto Rico to volunteer in the ongoing recovery efforts of the island.
More than a year after Hurricane Maria, there is still much to do. However, the AFT is helping provide resources for families, children and schools in numerous communities.
Prillaman traveled from West Virginia to Puerto Rico to work with Operation Agua, a partnership between Operation Blessing International and the AFT.
