Congratulations AFT-WV member Whitney Stead from Cabell County, this year's winner of the Milken Award!
Stead is a kindergarten teacher at Village of Barboursville Elementary School in Barboursville. Before a schoolwide assembly, Whitney was stunned with the news that she is the state's recipient of the 2012 Milken Educator Award, which comes with a $25,000 unrestricted cash prize. Way to go Whitney!
